Peak RF Power = Average RF Power/ Duty Factor

CAUTION: A 1 KW pulsed amplifier must be designed as such. An amplifier rated at 100 watts CW and operated at a 0.1 duty factor will not deliver 1 KW peak. It will deliver 100 watts CW or pulse.
Special pulse shapes (Gaussian, etc. ) require non-standard circuit designs.
